Effective Fall 2006, the Interior Design Program will be officially declared impacted. This status was granted by the CSU system and will be reflected in the CSUS 2006-2008 Catalog. Impaction means that student demand has exceeded available resources. Such a classification enables the impacted major to apply supplemental admission criteria in order to regulate the number of majors entering the program, and in turn, ensures upper division majors reserved space in all upper division major courses.

All current Interior Design students, as well as those students considering applying to the program should contact the Department of Design for more information.
