How I Work With Students

Although I have specialized knowledge and training in eating disorders, I am a generalist at heart and love working with college students on a variety of issues. My approach to therapy is a blend of primarily interpersonal, client-centered, and feminist theoretical orientations, but I am also open to incorporating other approaches and techniques if they make sense for you. It is very important to me that students feel heard, understood, and supported as we work together. I also pay special attention to systemic, contextual, and cultural factors impacting their current struggles, and work to make the therapy room a safe and affirming space.

Professional Interests

In her spare time, Becca’s two small children keep her very busy. She also enjoys hiking and camping, reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
