This bawdy version of the classic story unites elements of wild farce and ancient mythologies with an environmentalist assault on wealth and power in the face of poverty and hunger.  Brought to life using surprising and vivid characters including insane jesters, a demonic snake oil salesman, a corrupt and lascivious court, a singer of eerie ballads, and a gluttonous lusty friar, this is not your ordinary children's classic. Maid Marian loses her clothes and her illusions among the poor, and Robin tries to avoid murder and elude the Dark Monk of the Wood who is Death and perhaps something more… Funny, surprising, and poignant.

This powerful docudrama tells the story of a mother searching for her missing daughter in the border city of Juárez where hundreds of women have disappeared or been found murdered in the past decade.

This story is moralistic and unapologetically political as it indicts authorities in the city of Juárez who may well be linked to the murders. But it’s also suspenseful drama that uses a composite character, an average mother, who sym­bolized the pain and tragedy of an entire population.

NOTE: This play contains adult situations that are not be appropriate for children.
