Department and University Forms

About the various forms used in the Department of Economics

Department Forms

Economics 145: You may sign up for Econ 145 directly without a petition beginning Spring 2011.

Economics 195/295: Internships can count for 1-3 units of credit toward the Economics Major. However, Econ 295 cannot count as an elective without the approval of the Graduate Coordinator. Please read more about Internships in the Department of Economics.

Incompletes: Incomplete grades or "I" grades are not automatic. You must speak to your instructor and have an incomplete petition filed with the department in order to receive an incomplete. To qualify for an "I," you must be passing the course and have a justifiable reason for not completing the course by the end of the semester.

About Adds & Drops: Students may drop themselves using MySacState for the first two weeks of the semester (In some cases, you may still be able to add a class). However, for a majority of courses, you must petition to add after the first day of instruction. Beginning the third week of the semester - you must petition to add or drop through an academic department. After the fourth week of the semester (Census Date) - adds are not allowed unless there is a compelling reason beyond the control of the student. Drops after the fourth week require Instructor and Department Chair signatures. Drops after the sixth week require Instructor, Department Chair and College Dean signatures.
