Suzanne specializes in Public Finance and Labor Economics - with a special focus on the Sacramento Region. She is the Economist at The Sacramento Regional Research Institute.
The Sacramento Regional Research Institute (SRRI) conducts economic research for businesses, local governments, and educational institutions. Each month SRRI produces Economy Watch, a monthly report on the Sacramento Region’s economy. In October we released the Prosperity Index, and this month we produced the Sacramento Region Business Forecast. These reports are often covered by local media, including local television stations and the Sacramento Business Journal. Suzanne O’Keefe presented information on the local economy to the Sacramento Association of Realtors, Commercial Division in October, and has appeared live on KCRA News, News 10, and Sacramento & Co. since then. She is often interviewed by local media on a wide variety of topics affecting the Region’s economy. Suzanne’s work with SRRI has given her the opportunity to connect with the community in unique ways.
