Insook Cho
Insook Cho received her B.A. in Economics from Yonsei University of South Korea at Seoul in 1997, and her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2008. She is a labor economist whose research interests span the fields of labor economics, economics of education, health economics, and public finance. Her recent work focuses on issues around gender, education and labor market outcomes. Insook joined Sacramento State University in 2008 as a visiting faculty of Economics. She enjoys living in Sacramento, a city surrounded by beautiful trees, rivers, and parks, because it reminds her of her hometown, Seoul, South Korea.
Tim Ford
Tim received his Ph.D. from the University of New Hampshire. He is interested in many areas of Economics, but his research focus have included areas of Urban, Regional, International and Growth. Tim likes living in California much better than he liked living in Arkansas - where he taught for two years prior to joining the Department of Economics at CSU, Sacramento. One of his favorite hobbies is the care and walking of his two dogs: Maynard and Frida. Currently, he is looking forward to a productive year working on his research and working with the students at Sac State.
