Weather

Sacramento enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate with dry summers full of sunshine and cool, somewhat rainy days in the winter. The coldest months are January and February, with average temperatures of 40-54 F and about 3 inches of rain each month.  In March and April, temperatures are in the 70s during the day and about 45 at night.  An inch or two of rain can be expected in those months.  By July, temperatures have climbed into the low 90s, with several days topping 100 F.  Nights in the summer reach a low of only 60 F.  Very little rain falls from June to September.  By October, temperatures are back to 45-70 F.
