1. Attend EOP “Welcome Day”
Saturday, February 26th. High potential EOP applicants will be invited to attend. Don’t miss this extremely important date.

2. Create your SacLink account
You will receive a Sac State ID on you Application Acknowledgment letter. You will use this ID to set up your SacLink account. To register for a SacLink account, go to www.csus.edu/saclink/settingUp.stm
SacLink is your point of entry to Sacramento State information resources and the gateway to the Internet. When you create a SacLink account, you are establishing a Global ID that is used to identify each student. SacLink was established to provide e-mail and Internet services to all students.
3. EOP ELM/EPT Entrance Exam (Freshmen only)
EOP Priority ELM/EPT: EOP Freshmen Applicants are required to take the ELM/EPT before February 26, 2011.
CSU requires you to take the English Placement Test (EPT) and the Entry-Level Mathematics Test (ELM) before you enroll, unless you’re exempt. EOP Summer Bridge participants are placed in academic courses based upon their English Placement Test (EPT) and the Entry Level Mathematics (ELM) exam. Therefore, it is very important that students take these tests as early as possible in their senior year of high school.

Note: We STRONGLY recommended that you take the test as a “standby” if you missed any of the above registration deadlines. Come prepared with your Social Security Number and Photo ID. An $18.00 fee is required for the ELM or EPT ($36 for both tests) payable on test date by check or money order (not cash) to "E.T.S." The fee is non-refundable, non-transferable.

4. Free Application for Federal Student Aid (Financial Aid) Priority Filing Period: January 1st to March 2nd
To apply for Financial Aid (FAFSA) go to www.fafsa.ed.gov.
To register for a PIN# go to www.pin.ed.gov. Your PIN can be used each year to electronically apply for federal student aid and to access your Federal Student Aid records online.

5. Sacramento State Financial Aid: Document Deadline June 1st
Check your “My Sac State” account under your “To Do List” to see what documents you may be missing. Submit missing documents to Sacramento State Financial Aid Office.

6. Confirm your Intent to Enroll (ITE):
All admitted undergraduate students must respond by May 1st in order to accept and confirm your attendance.
Note: this is a critical deadline! Failure to complete the ITE by the deadline will result in your application being withdrawn from consideration.

7. Student Orientation
When you are accepted to Sacramento State, register for the Sacramento State New Student Orientation. For more Information see the Orientation webpage - www.csus.edu/acad/orientation
Note: Orientation is a REQUIRED program for all new freshmen and it will take place on specific dates during the summer. Orientation offers a limited number of Fee Reductions. Contact the Orientation office for more information.
8. Sacramento State Housing: Application Available March 14, 2011

9. Scholarship Programs
Apply to FSMP: ANTHONY J. LEONES (Application Deadline: April 28, 2011).
Apply to SASEEP: Future Scholars Scholarship (Application Deadline: June 3, 2011).
10. Official Transcripts Deadline: June 30th
Submit transcripts – June 30th to Sacramento State Admissions Office, DO NOT submit to EOP office.
