GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION LINKS:

    Institutional, Departmental and Community Scholarship- The Financial Aid Office administers three types of scholarships: Institution, Department and Community Scholarships. Typically, scholarships are disbursed at the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters.

    McNair Scholars - This program is for underrepresented students in graduate education. For more information, plese contact McNair Scholars Program Administrative Coordinator Lova Harris at (916) 278-5118 or email ljb64@saclink.csus.edu.

    Serna Center Scholarships - Consistent with the lasting vision of Joe and Isabel Serna, the Serna Center aims to encourage policy and political knowledge, activism and engagement, student access and excellence, and community service. The Center’s primary but not sole focus is Chicana/os and Latina/os in the Sacramento region.

FUTURE SCHOLARS:
    The CSU Scholarship Program for Future Scholars seeks to increase the college participation rate of students who are disadvantaged due to their socioeconomic and educational background. The awards are made to first-time freshman and new transfer students on the basis of their potential to benefit from University-level courses. A $1,000 (per student) scholarship will be given for the academic year and will be awarded in two payments of $500.00 per semester.

ANTHONY J. LEONES:
    The Anthony J. & Soula Leones Scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to students who are disadvantaged due to their socioeconomic and educational background. This scholarship consists of cash awards of $1,000 for the academic year and will be awarded in two payments of $500.00 per semester. (Application deadline: May 9, 2013)
