7 -- THE SCIENCE EDUCATIONAL EQUITY LEARNING COMMUNITY
Biography: I was born in Lodi raised by my grandparents in Galt and am currently living in Rancho Cordova. I am a biology pre-med student minoring in chemistry and chicano studies. As a first generation college student it was hard to get access to the information I needed to get where I am today. I come from a family of farmworkers and for my grandparents a high school diploma was enough. For mea high school diploma was not enough, I believe there is a lack of representation of minorities in the health and science professions. As long as there is will and passion anything is possible.

Biography: I am blessed to be a full-time mom of two awesome boys and a wife of the best man in the whole world. I was born in Kiev, Ukraine and worked as an English teacher for six (6) years in my native city. I got married and moved to the U.S. in 2006. Within two years after stroke and brain surgery, in May 2011, I got my AA degree in English and graduated from American River College. Now, I am a senior student at CSUS and ,hopefully,Spring 2013 is going to be the semester when I get my BA. I am also planning to obtain my Master Degree in TESOL. That's amazing, how the Lord leads me through this life. After having a brain surgery, I am using my brain a lot while studying and working. I love teaching and working with my students; in my spare time, I love spending time with my precious Family.
