EOP Admissions


First generation, historically low-income, educationally disadvantaged prospective freshmen & transfer students can apply.

- EOP gives priority consideration to local area applicants, please review the CSU admissions criteria: www.csus.edu/admissions/

Transfer applicants must be of upper-division standing (60 units) and have all the following criteria General Education areas A1, A2, A3 and B4 completed with a C or better.

Local Admissions Area Criteria for EOP:
Priority will be given to students in these areas:

Freshmen is a student who graduated from a high school in one of the following counties: Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, San Joaquin, Solano and Yolo.

Transfer is a student transferring units from one or more of the following community colleges is considered in our local admission area: American River, Cosumnes River, Folsom Lake, Sacramento City, Sierra, San Joaquin Delta, Solano, Woodland Colleges or Yuba.


All EOP applicants must meet the income guidelines listed below.
