Sac State remains among nation’s most diverse campuses
What has become an important norm at Sacramento State continues to earn recognition beyond the University’s immediate sphere of influence.
Sac State has been ranked No. 4 by U.S. News & World Report in the “Campus Ethnic Diversity, Regional Universities West” category. It is one of only four CSU campuses on the list.
It is just the latest acknowledgment of how effectively the University has created and maintains a campus community that transcends race, ethnicity, sex, socioeconomics, gender identity, and immigration status – and is a nod to Sac State’s dedication to access, academic excellence, and inclusion.
Psychology student Paha Xiong says Sac State’s diversity has figured into her success. “I know that diversity and inclusion have pushed me to continue my path in higher education,” she says.
