Tuition and Membership Fees
Costs to students during undergraduate education: A description of costs related to fees charged by CSUS are included in the University Catalog.
Student membership in professional organizations are optional but strongly encouraged. The cost for student membership in the American Dietetic Association is $43/year. Membership in the American Dietetic Association automatically makes you a member of the California Dietetic Association at no additional cost. Annual costs for memberships in Northern Area Dietetic Association is $10/year.
Applying to dietetic internships and/or practice programs also incurs costs for copying and mailing applications. In addition some programs have an application fee ranging up to $100.00 per site. In addition, there may be costs for relocating to that area and living expenses for 6 months to 1 year in order to complete the dietetic internship and/or practice program After successful completion of the Dietetic Internship and/or practice program, you become eligible to take the Registration Examination for Dietitians, which also has a cost.
