The mission of our program is to provide quality academic and professional experiences for interns to become competent Registered Dietitians in entry-level dietetics careers.  The program encourages lifelong learning by providing opportunities for professional growth and involvement in the profession. Graduates will have the resources, knowledge, critical thinking, cultural sensitivity, and effective communication skills to promote client well-being and the profession of dietetics.

Produce graduates who are diverse, confident and competent entry-level practitioners

Increase the number of local graduates employed in the Northern region as Registered Dietitians who incorporate disease prevention and health promotion, or advocacy and public policy in professional practice

Foster a commitment to advocacy, professional development, leadership and community service through internship placements and graduate coursework
