Nadine Braunstein earned her PhD in Medical Nutrition Sciences from Boston University School of Medicine, a MS in Dietetics from the MGH Institute of Health Professions, and a BS in Dietetics from Drexel University. Nadine was a 2013-2014 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Fellow where she worked in the office of a US Senator and supported the 2015 US Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee. She was the Dietetic Internship Director at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst from 2005-2009. She had a private practice in Brookline, MA for over 20 years. Nadine serves on the Legislative and Public Policy Committee of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as its past chair.  Her professional interests include health, food and nutrition policy, food security/sustainability, oral health, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, complementary and alternative nutrition and health professions education.

Lynea Albers earned her Master's in Nutrition Education from Framingham State University in 2015 and her BS in Dietetics from California State University, Sacramento in 2007.  Her expertise is in providing health education to people with diabetes.  Lynea continues to work in this role as an outpatient dietitian and certified diabetes educator for Sutter Medical Foundation and as an insulin pump trainer for Tandem Diabetes.  Other professional interests include sports nutrition, chronic disease prevention, and public health.
