Hong Kong's Pro-Democracy Protests

2014 saw massive protests in the United States and China (Hong Kong). 

In Hong Kong, young people led the protest against the Chinese government's policies that they see as stiffling democracy. In Ferguson, Missouri, people protest against what they see as unjust and possibly racist actions by the police. Watch these videos and write a 300-word essay about the major differences and similarities that you see in terms of the actions of the protestors and the police.
