Consortium Agreements


Fall 2014 Only

Consortium agreements are available on a semester basis.  The enrollment status of a student attending more than one school, under a consortium agreement, is based on all enrolled courses applicable to the degree objective at Sacramento State (the home campus).  The units enrolled at Sacramento State and the host campus are considered when determining financial aid.  

Eligibility criteria:

  • A completed financial aid file
  • Current awards must include Pell Grant eligibility
  • Must have a minimum of 6 enrolled units at Sacramento State (wait list not counted)
  • A senior eligible to apply for graduation
  • Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards
  • Unable to enroll in a degree objective course at Sacramento State

Student responsibility:

  • Notify the Financial Aid Office within 7 days of withdrawal from any course at the host campus
  • Not substitute/change courses at the host campus
  • Provide official academic transcripts to the Office of the Registrar.  An academic registration hold will be placed
  • Provide an unofficial academic transcript to the Financial Aid Office verifying completion of courses at the host campus. A financial aid hold will be placed

Additional Information:

  • You must meet with a Financial Aid Counselor to discuss and pick-up a consortium agreement
  • Inform the Financial Aid Counselor if a professor recommended enrollment at another college for major requirement purposes
  • Units attempted at another college under a consortium agreement will be included in the SAP review required of all financial aid applicants
  • Students who drop units at the host campus under a consortium agreement are subject to repayment of aid
