Solano Association of Realtors On-going Apply Online H.S. students entering college and enrolled college students at an accredited college. Must reside within boundaries and jurisdiction.
GMR Transcription College Academic Scholarship On-going quarterly on March 15th, June 15th, Sept. 15th & Dec. 15th Apply Online Applicants must be currently enrolled full time in college or university and maintaining a 3.0 GPA.
AMBUCS Scholarships for Therapists January 15, annually Apply Online U.S. citizen, demonstrate financial need, Junior through Graduate level in Occupational, Physical, Speech- Language Pathology or Hearing Audiology Therapy program.
Clair A. Hill Scholarship February 1st, annually Apply Online California resident attending a California school, full-time junior or senior, plan to attend school for the complete academic year, pursue degree related to engineering, agriculture, urban water supply, environmental studies or public administration.
SPS Future Teacher Scholarship February 15th, annually Apply Online Undergraduates applying in at least their junior year: majoring in physics and be an active member in the Society of Physics Students
Federal Employees Education & Assistance March, annually Apply Online Current federal and postal employees, their children and spouse, enrolled or plan to enroll to college that leads to a degree, 3.0 GPA
Honey Lake Hospice Scholarship March 15th, annually Download Application (pdf) Applicant must have an interest in gerontology, oncology and/or hospice and palliative care.
Stephen K. Hall ACWA Water Law & Policy Scholarship April 1st, annually Apply Online Attend a public or private school in the U.S., have completed their undergraduate work at time of award, be either part/full-time in graduate studies, carry 8 units per term through the academic year.
ACWA Scholarship April 1st, annually Apply Online Applicants must be California resident; enrolled full time as a junior or senior in a California college or university for the academic year; and major in a water-resources related field or discipline.
The Drive to Learn Scholarship May 1st, annually Apply Online Applicants must be enrolled full time at a four-year university, graduate program, community college, or trade school located in the continental United States.
NCPOA Scholarships October 31st, annually Apply Online Junior or senior enrolled in Criminal Justice Program. See CSUS Criminal Justice department for application and details
Artistic Excellence in Print Design & Marketing Scholarship November 30th, and December 31st, annually Apply Online Open to graduate and undergraduate students who major in Graphic Design or a related field.
William B. Ruggles Righty to Work Journalism December 1st, annually Apply Online Graduate or undergraduate students majoring in Journalism or related majors.
The Applegate/Jackson/Parks Future Teacher December 31st, annually Apply Online Undergraduate/Graduate majoring in Education.
Caltrans Division of Equipment Stanley Jacobs/PECG Mechanical Engineering Scholarship Varies Apply Online Applicants must be in good academic standing (> 2.0 GPA overall and in major), must be continuing in mechanical engineering coursework for the Fall 2017 quarter or semester, plan to pursue a career in the vehicle engineering or construction equipment engineering field.

Vacation Roost Scholarship 6/1/2015 re-occuring/bi-annually Apply Online U.S. Citizens who will be attending a college or university for the 2013-14 academic year. (Next deadline: November 1, 2013)
Powering Futures Scholarship 6/23/2017 Apply Online At SMUD, we recognize the value of education and the impact it can have on our families and our community. We're proud to offer Powering Futures, a special program to award up to $60,000 in college scholarships for local students. As many as 21 local students may receive up to $5,000 each in scholarships
Rainbow Chamber Foundation Scholarship 6/30/2017 Apply Online Applicants must reside in or plan to attend a university, college, or school in one of the following counties: Amador, Calaveras, Colusa, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Sierra, Solano, Stanislaus, Sutter, Tuolumne, Yolo, and Yuba. The student must be enrolled in the 12th grade of high school or in a university or college, or a qualified vocational school, or intended to be so enrolled in Fall. The student must submit a full completed scholarship application. Applications that are not fully completed will be disqualified. The student must have a minimum 2.9 cumulative grade point average or equivalent grading. Applications are open from March 1st through June 30th.
Anesthesiology Consultants Scholarship 7/1/2017 Apply Online Applicants must be accepted or enrolled full-time enrollment at an accredited university and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
K. Hunter Goff Bankruptcy /Consumer Rights Scholarship 7/31/2017 Apply Online Applicants must attend college fall semester of 2017 and demonstrate an interested in pursuing a career in law.

ACWA Water Law & Policy April 1st, annually Apply Online Major in Water Law & Policy or Public Administration with a concentration in California water resources, enrolled minimum 8 units.

Stokes Educational Scholarship Annually from September 7-November 30 Apply Online US Citizen, SAT score 1600+ or ACT of 25, 3.0 GPA, eligible to be granted security clearance, H.S. Senior at time of application, major in Computer Science, or Computer or Electrical Engineering and demonstrate leadership abilities.

The CSU International Programs Scholarship Application Varies Apply Online Recipients will be required to write and submit a three-page summary of their IP experiences and submit it to OIP mid-year (December for most programs, July for Australia and South Africa).  Recipients agree to assist OIP during their year abroad by corresponding by e-mail with the Assistant Director for Student Affairs to provide updated information that future IP participants will need to know.   The scholarship is available to all IP participants except those applying for Japan, China or Taiwan.
The Wang Family Scholarship December 15th, annually Apply Online Be accepted to study in China or Taiwan with the CSU International Programs.  Demonstrate strong academic interest in China or Taiwan.  Have financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.  Previous recipients are not eligible for a second award.

Calude S. Weiler Scholarship August 31, annually Apply Online Must have a major limb amputation.
Caltrans, Disability Advisory Committee Scholarship 11/18/2016 Apply (pdf) Applicant must have a disability defined by the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) as having a mental or physical impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities.

 Scholarship Process for Community Scholarships

  • Each agency / sponsor will select and notify the eligible scholarship recipient
  • Funds will be sent to the Scholarships Office for awarding
  • Disbursement of scholarships occurs weekly, but not earlier than 10 days from the start of the semester.
  • Monitor your My State Student Center regularly for Holds, Messages and To Do Lists
