Sacramento State offers a rich academic program that offers 60 undergraduate degrees, 40 graduate degrees and two doctorate degree programs. We also have a general education honors program for highly motivated students. Our larger programs include teacher education, business, computer technology, criminal justice, psychology and communication studies.

The University offers extensive internship opportunities for students interested in pursuing a career in public service. The Center for California Studies' Capital Fellows program was named one of the top 10 internships programs in the country by Vault.com, a career management research and information website.

Sacramento State is dedicated to advancing the many social, economic, political and scientific issues affecting the region and the state. The University's curricular and co-curricular programs continue to focus on these issues through undergraduate and post-baccalaureate programs that prepare graduates for successful careers dedicated to public service and the enhancement of the quality of life within the region and beyond.
