The mission of the Department of Foreign Languages is to provide students with the opportunity to learn about foreign languages, literatures and cultures in order to broaden cultural understanding, increase language proficiency, and enable students to communicate successfully in a pluralistic American society and abroad.

The JET Program is your chance to live and work in Japan after graduation, either teaching English as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) or translating and interpreting as a Coordinator for International Relations (CIR).
