Institute for the Advancement of Strategic Languages
and Cultural Studies
Founded during the 2012-2013 academic year in collaboration with the Colleges of Education and Arts and Letters with the commitment of supporting and promoting strategic languages.
Undergraduate International Studies and Foreign Language Program
This program provides funds to plan, develop, and carry out programs to strengthen and improve undergraduate instruction in international studies and foreign languages.
"Guatemala: Beyond the Headlines" - Photo Exhibit
This is an exhibit of photos taken in Guatemala in 2006, 2009, 2010, and 2013—now up in the University Library Gallery (to the left as you enter). “Guatemala: Beyond the Headlines” is the result of a College of Arts and Letters Student-Faculty Research Award, and is a collaboration between Dr. Edward Baranowski and MA in Spanish student Chelsea Ramazzini. Chelsea lived in Guatemala for several years, researched the photos and also presented them at the 2015 Festival of the Arts. The exhibit will be up until 12/11/2015.
