Welcome to Japan Club!

The members of the Sacramento State Japan Club come from many different backgrounds, but we are all united by our common interest in Japanese language and culture. Anyone who is interested in making new friends and learning about other cultures is welcome to join. We plan monthly events that members and non-members alike are welcome to participate in.

Thank you for everyone that performed last night at Julie Otsuka's reception! We hope that everyone who was interested in her visit was able to meet her. This Friday will be the J-Club equivalent of "Taiiku no Hi," a Japanese holiday. We will be having both recreational and competitive sports. Afterwards, we are planning on getting food at Steve's Pizza on Howe Avenue.

The Sacramento State One Book program has chosen Julie Otsuka's When the Emperor was Divine as the book for the 2009-2010 academic school year. Meet Julie Otsuka on campus! Book signing will also be held. For more information, please visit the One Book event page.
