A Brief History
Japan Club was formed in 2004 by founder and President JJ and Vice President Teru to increase cultural awareness and understanding at Sacramento State University and foster a stronger community between Japanese and American Students on campus.
In Japan Club, also called "J-Club" for short, membership is not exclusive to students in the Japanese language program or students with Japanese descent. The founder himself did not take Japanese during the time of creating J-Club. Students from various majors and backgrounds can come together and share the common interest of Japanese culture.
J-Club organizes events both on campus and off and sends out regular e-mails where we inform members about upcoming events.
