Program Tentative Itinerary

June 25, Thursday: Arrive in Madrid.

June 26, Friday: City tour of Madrid and visit to Prado museum.

June 27, Saturday: Tour of Royal Palace.

June 28, Sunday: Leave for Seville, the “pearl” of Andalucía. Tour of the Barrio
of Santa Cruz.

June 29, Monday: Visit to the Cathedral and La Giralda.

June 30, Tuesday: Leave for Granada, with brief stops in Ronda and the beaches
of Marbella.

July 1, Wednesday: Visit to the Alhambra. Flamenco show at night.

July 2, Thursday: Visit to Córdoba on the way to the medieval city of Toledo, famous
for its art and jewelry. Overnight stay in Toledo.

July 3, Friday: Return to Madrid to spend the night and collect luggage.

July 4, Saturday: On the way to Valladolid, visit to Segovia, with its famous Roman
aqueduct and Alcázar. Arrive in Valladolid and meet host families.

Academic Session and Homestay in Valladolid (July 4-August 2)

July 6, Monday: Classes begin.

July 18, Saturday: All-day trip to Salamanca.

July 31, Friday: Final exams.

August 2, Sunday: Final return to Madrid. Overnight stay in Madrid.

August 3, Monday: Program ends in Madrid.
