Faculty Mentors' Responsibilities

Faculty Studnet Mentor Program

	Serve as role models.
	Meet with students on a regular basis.
	Provide academic, personal, and career advice.
	Help students establish short and long-term goals and plans for achieving them.
	Evaluate and discuss with students their learning skills and create a plan to improve those skills.
	Serve as liaison between the student, FSMP, College Deans, Department Chairs and advisors.
	Serve as advocates.
	Coordinate FSMP events.
	Teach Mentoring Courses (If applicable)
	Hire, supervise, train and evaluate Peer Mentors and/or Tutors.
