About the FYE Space

A designated academic location that is available primarily for first year college students which has been termed "The Space."  Events are often held in the Space to introduce information to students, as well as celebrate achievements "May One Is Done."  Students visit the Space to study, connect with advisors, faculty, many check-in with a peer mentor or a resource mentor.  Workshops on writing, leadership, and major advising are offered throughout the semester.  It was established to develop a space where First Year students may always connect with a community when needed.

Hours Of Operation

The First Year Space has regular hours when classes are in session during the academic school year. The FYE Space is closed during most holidays, academic breaks, and on occassion a few special events.

During the academic year, the FYE Space is open: 

Monday-Thursday 9:00am-4:30pm

Friday 9:00am-3:30pm
