Are you interested in helping cities improve how they are designed, to make them more sustainable, attractive, efficient, equitable, and safe? Then you should consider majoring in GEOGRAPHY at Sac State with a concentration in METROPOLITAN AREA PLANNING.

Are you interested in understanding and managing natural environments and resources, amidst global climate change and other challenges to natural systems? Then you should consider majoring in GEOGRAPHY at Sac State with a concentration in PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY.

Are you interested in better understanding human cultures, societies, and economies and how they interact with natural environments to create distinctive places with unique achievements, challenges, and conflicts? Then you should consider majoring in GEOGRAPHY at Sac State with a concentration in HUMAN GEOGRAPHY.

Are you interested in complementing another major with spatial approaches and techniques? Then you should consider completing a minor in GEOGRAPHY or GIS (GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS).
