Welcome Future Students! Thank you for your interest in the Gerontology Program at Sacramento State. To the left are links to information of particular interest to prospective students, including how to apply to our programs, information about careers and scholarship opportunities, and a checklist for new students. Please use the "request information" form to receive information about the specific programs that we offer. You should also check out the "Our Program" and "Current Students" sections of the webpage to gain a full view of all the Gerontology Program has to offer! Gerontology Program Informational Meetings: Dr. Cheryl Osborne, Director of the Gerontology Program, holds informational meetings for prospective students on the first Friday of each month* during the regular semester. Anyone interested in enrolling in any of our programs (Major, Minor, Special Masters or Certificate) should attend one of these meetings. She will provide you with an overview of each of the programs, and will answer any specific questions you may have. These meetings provide you an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with Dr. Osborne and with the program. Fall 2008 Meetings September 5 Spring 2009 Meetings Feburary 6 *Note that this is the second Friday of the month. The first Friday falls during Spring Break. Please RSVP to sunderman@csus.edu or call (916) 278-7163 at least one week in advance. Visitor Parking permits will be available to those who RSVP in the Gerontology Program Office, El Dorado Hall 1030, just before the meeting. You may park in either of the lots in front of or behind our building, retrieve your pass and place it on your car. |
