New Admissions and Application Deadlines
Because of the recent budget reductions, our University has had to close all admissions for Spring 2010. The Fall 2010 deadline to apply for the Bachelor's Degree or Graduate Certificate program is now Nov. 30, 2009.
For undergraduate admissions deadlines, click here. For the Certificate, click here. Plan ahead, and start as early as possible if you plan to apply!
(NOTE: A special application period may open up for the Special Master's in December. Graduate students should apply for the Certificate by November 30th, but may consider switching to the Special Master's should an application period open. For more information, visit the Special Master's page, and contact our office.)
New Furlough Days
Due to unprecendented budget reductions imposed on the CSU, our employee bargaining units have agreed to furloughs this year. Click here for information.
Gerontology Student Ambassador Program
Our Gerontology Student Ambassadors, Jen Silmaro and Kate Madaus, have been presenting to various classes and groups on and off campus, spreading awareness of the Gerontology Program, and helping to recruit new students. They recently recorded a presentation on the Sacramento City College campus, and that video is available online! To view the video and access the PowerPoint presentation, please visit our Future Students page. Faculty on campus or at local community colleges are welcome to contact us about scheduling a presentation in Spring or Fall 2009.
