Annual Giving

The Office of Annual Giving raises money for a variety of campus projects. In the fall semester, the Office of Annual Giving raises unrestricted funds through the University Fund. In the spring semester, the Office of Annual Giving raises money for each of the colleges.

Why give to the annual fund?

Every gift is important. Gifts to the Annual Fund impact the lives of the students by preserving academic excellence at Sacramento State. Giving to the University also gives alumni an opportunity to participate at Sacramento State and to help today’s students receive the quality education they deserve.

The University Fund raises unrestricted money that goes to the place of greatest need on campus. It benefits students throughout Sacramento State by funding scholarships, library materials, multicultural programs, and technology upgrades for computer labs and classrooms.

The Colleges Annual Funds raise money to meet the program needs of each college. Funds raised for the colleges support student projects and organizations, department scholarships, classroom equipment, and faculty research.

I received a phone call...

The Telephone Outreach Program utilizes Sacramento State students to call alumni, parents, and friends to raise money for the University. Students calling from the University will clearly articulate where they are calling from and the purpose of the call. If you have any questions, e-mail annualfund@csus.edu or call (916) 278-6989.

You can also give a gift to the Annual Fund or the University Fund online.
