Donor support propels students toward success

It is enough to keep students up at night. Concerns like, “How do I pay my tuition and living expenses? Where on campus can I go for support and understanding?” But thanks to generous donor and campus support, there are programs in place that help to ease their minds and keep them on track to graduate.

Scholarships can also act as doses of confidence to inspire students to reach the next level in their academic career. Establishing, contributing to or The Full Circle Project provides resources, social and emotional support, and strong networks among participating students, faculty and staff. Gifts help support scholarships and program activities that help keep students on the path to graduation.

"The Full Circle Project supports low-income and first generation students like myself. I also am a retention and outreach program assistant and one of my duties is to reach out to students and help get them engaged on campus. The program has really impacted me in amazing ways. We have a lot of peer and moral support. We’re together a lot and have a lot of events. It’s like my second home and I have formed really great relationships that I know will last me a lifetime.”

In general, it just resolved my concerns about the basic stuff like how I’m going to eat, buy my writing utensils and my textbooks. It’s been a wonderful blessing and I’m really thankful for it. Now I can keep going and studying and achieving all these things.”
