Partner in Our Progress

The President’s Circle is a diverse group of leadership donors who share a common dedication to Sacramento State. These alumni, friends, faculty, staff and business and community leaders provide crucial support to the University.

Gifts to the President’s Circle help President Alexander Gonzalez devote resources to the areas where they are needed most. They expand opportunities for students, enhance the quality of a Sacramento State education and build upon the accomplishments of our faculty.

Joining the President’s Circle
Membership in the President’s Circle signals a commitment to the University and its students. Members provide advice and assistance to President Gonzalez in achieving goals ― and the financial support to realize them.

President’s Circle members are given special recognition in campus publications and the University’s annual Honor Roll of Donors. Members are also invited to special University events that showcase the impact of their annual gifts.

Your affiliation with the President’s Circle is accomplished through a tax-deductible annual gift. Individual and corporate memberships are available.

• Emerald and Gold Circle - $10,000 and above
• Diamond Circle - $5,000 - $9,999
• Silver Circle - $1,500 - $4,999 (individuals only)

Jack and Chris Higdon

Father and son moving executives and President’s Circle members Jack (’52, Accounting) and Chris Higdon (’85, Business Administration) are arguably in the referral business as much as they are the moving business.

Jack received Sacramento State’s Distinguished Service Award last year. A former Sacramento State baseball player, he is looking forward to the University improving its sports facilities. He says he joined President’s Circle because “I want Sacramento State to be a top notch school.”

Chris is on the Sacramento State Alumni Association Board of Directors and the College of Business Advisory Council. He first came to work for California Moving Systems as a household-move dispatcher, soon advancing into sales and later succeeding his father, along with his brother and company vice president, Dave, who studied business at Sacramento State.
