Brief Biography:
Monicka Patterson-Tutschka is the daughter of Polish and Czech parents and she grew up on Lake Champlain in upstate New York. She went to graduate school in political science at the University of Michigan where she studied political theory. While working on her Ph.D. Monicka taught at the University of Vermont for one year. She became a member of the faculty at Sacramento State in 2008.
