Student-Mentor Assessments

The assessment will be taken at the first meeting between the mentor and the student being mentored. It is possible for the assessment to be administered over two sessions between the mentor and student. The assessment process will be explained in detail during the mentor orientation sessions. The purpose of the assessment is to give the mentor an early indication of the short and long-term academic and social goals of the student they are mentoring. The assessment should also highlight issues or problems their student may be facing their first semester at CSUS.
