  • Provost’s Student Research Showcase, Fall 2014

The Provost’s Student Research Showcase offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to present their research activities to the campus community in poster presentation format. The presentations will be grouped in rotating sessions of 90 to 120 minutes with mixed cohorts of undergraduate, graduate and Ed.D. students. Participants will have the opportunity to gain speaking and presentation experience without the pressure of being judged, but will receive feedback on their work and presentation styles. This event also allows students to test-run their presentations in preparation for the campus-wide Student Research Symposium on Friday, March 6.

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend the event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, in the University Union, Redwood Room. Provost Frederika “Fraka” Harmsen will take part in the showcase from noon to 1 p.m. to engage with students and their mentors.
