We are a vibrant comprehensive university with eight colleges that offer 48 master degree programs, a joint doctorate in Public History, and an independent doctorate in Educational Leadership.
Please note that California State University, Sacramento (Sacramento State) will only accept electronically filed applications (exception: department applications).
ALERT!!!!!
Due to the constraints in the California State budget, California State University, Sacramento will not be accepting applications for admission Spring 2010 – with very few exceptions. The decision to close spring admissions is part of the CSU system’s overall effort to reduce enrollment. The closure applies to all regular (state supported) graduate applicants.
There will be a limited number of credential and special session (self-support) professional, graduate level programs offered in Spring 2010. Applications for Special Session programs will be accepted from August 1, 2009 through September 15, 2009.
Sacramento State operates under a completion deadline process. Your file must be complete by the closing date – all transcripts, test scores, and documents must be received by both the Office of Graduate Studies and any supplemental documents to the department by the close of business on the final application filing date.
Applications are term specific, which means that Sacramento State will not defer or roll forward your application or admission from term to term. If you do not attend Sacramento State in the term designated on your application, then you must reapply and submit a new application and fee for the subsequent term you wish to start attending Sacramento State.
NOTE
Per the CSU system, the priority application filing period for Fall 2010 will be October 1 - November 30, 2009.
