Applications should be filled in completely, making sure that all residency information is filled in correctly and clearly. Applicants for Masters Programs should complete both Part A and Part B of the University application.
Credential graduate applicants are not required to complete Part B; however, the employment area in Part B is helpful in determining residency status.
Foreign students (F or J Visas) apply through International Admissions. Do NOT fill out the general graduate studies application as it will slow down your application process.
To facilitate processing your application so that you receive a quicker admission decision, you are encouraged to include all of the required transcripts (in envelopes officially sealed by the issuing institution) with your University application. Please include 2 transcripts from ALL colleges and universities attended. Transcripts already on file with CSU, Sacramento need not be resubmitted unless there is additional work to be reported. It also is not necessary to submit CSU, Sacramento transcripts. However, you may need to supply additional copies of any or all transcripts directly to the program to which you are applying.
Transcripts being sent directly from the issuing institution should be addressed to:
Sacramento State University
Office of Graduate Studies
River Front Center 206
6000 J Street
Sacramento, CA 95819-6112
The Graduate Admissions Office must receive sealed official transcripts before your application will be processed.
