GUIDELINES FOR APPLICANTS APPLYING FROM CHINA

TOEFL: Required Minimum scores: undergraduate 510 or 180 (computer based test); graduates 550 or 213 (computer based test) some graduate departments require higher scores.

GRADUATE APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT: Students must complete a minimum four year bachelor's degree from an accredited university to be eligible for possible admission and have a minimum of a 2.5 grade point average on both overall and last two years of university coursework. Individual departments will make final admission review for their programs.

DOCUMENTS: ALL ACADEMIC RECORDS MUST BE MAILED DIRECTLY FROM THE ISSUING UNIVERSITY TO SACRAMENTO STATE. Documents from a notary can not be accepted. Transfer students must submit official transcripts in Chinese and a precise word for word certified English translation directly from the university, in university sealed envelopes. All documents must bear registrar's signature, title and seal. Graduate students must submit official transcripts and degree certificates in Chinese with an official precise word for word certified English translation directly from the university, in university sealed envelopes. All documents must bear the registrar's signature, title and seal of Registrar with University seal.
