RE: 2015 Sacramento State Law Forum
Dear Law School Admissions Representative:
It is with enthusiasm that I am writing to invite you to participate in the 13th Annual Division of Criminal Justice Fall Law Forum at Sacramento State University. The Division of Criminal Justice is currently advising over 800 pre-law students from across the campus here at the University. This significant number of students interested in studying law was the catalyst for the creation of the pre-law advising program at Sacramento State in 2002. Since that time, I have worked alongside my colleagues in the Criminal Justice Division to host practice LSAT examinations, host panel discussions featuring local attorneys, law students, and admissions professionals, and every year – the cornerstone of our program is the Fall Law Forum. On Tuesday, November 10, 2015 we will host this wonderful event again after seeing hundreds of students participate over the past thirteen years. Please find attached the program and RSVP information for law school representatives.
We hope you will consider participating at the event by hosting a table at the forum. Representatives from each school will be provided with a table and two chairs and dinner after the event (please RSVP your attendance in advance). We are requesting that participating schools make a suggested donation of $150.00 payable to the 'University Foundation at Sacramento State' to assist with program expenses.
We suggest early registration to reserve space for your law school. For questions or additional registration information contact Donna Vasiliou in the Criminal Justice Division at firstname.lastname@example.org or (916) 278-6297.
Hope to see you here!
Laurie M. Kubicek, J.D.
Director, Sacramento State Pre-Law Advising Program
