Admission Requirements


Domestic Students

Measles and Rubella Requirements
The Chancellor of the California State University system requires new and readmitted students born on or after January 1, 1957 to present proof of immunity to measles and rubella or be immunized in order to continue their education at CSU campuses. For those 18 and under, a Hepatitis B immunization is also required.
Immunizations must have been received:

  1. After January 1, 1968
  2. Not BEFORE 12 months of age
  3. Not with gamma globulin

International Students

Two Immunization Requirements: After the semester begins, bring your immunization record for Measles and Rubella to Student Health Services (SHS).  Students who are unable to demonstrate proof of immunity will be vaccinated by SHS staff for a nominal fee.  In addition, a mandatory Tuberculosis test will be administered; (if you have been tested for Tuberculosis in the US within the last year, you may submit a statement from your previous physician). For those 18 and under, a Hepatitis B immunization is also required.

Deadline: Prior to registering for second semester courses.
