Q: What events are happening during Homecoming Week? When are they?

A: There is a complete calendar of events--both on and off campus--tied to Homecoming Week. Many events are free; some have nominal registration costs. Each event listed on the main events page has details about attendance or registration.

Q: How much are tickets for the Hornet Football game?

A: General admission for Homecoming starts at just $15 for pre-purchased tickets and children 3-17 years old are $10 per ticket. Tickets may be purchased online in advance through Hornet Sports or game day at Hornet Stadium box office located near Gate 4. On game day general admission ticket prices range from $20-$25.

Q: Do students need to buy tickets? 

A: Sacramento State students with a valid OneCard are admitted free to home games. Students with a valid OneCard may purchase up to (2) guest tickets for $10 each.  These tickets can be purchased in the Athletic Center at the Ticket Office before game day or at the Hornet Stadium box office located near Gate 4 on game day.   

Q: Where do I park for the Hornet Football game on Saturday, Oct. 8?

A: Parking is limited in the area surrounding Hornet Stadium due to the Homecoming Festival and adjacent tailgate events located in Parking Lot 8. Attendees will find parking in Lot 7 and Parking Structure III on the campus parking map. Parking is $10 per vehicle or $25 per RV.  The parking lots near Hornet Stadium open at 2 p.m.  

Q: I am bringing my college friends and best Sac State cheer to the game. Is there anything I should leave at home?

A: Yes, it is prohibited to bring the following items into Hornet Stadium:

• Plastic Containers larger than 20 oz.
• Outside food
• Cans, glass containers & Thermos bottles
• Bicycles, roller blades & skateboards

• Horns & artificial noise makers
• Weapons & any dangerous items
• Pets (except service pets)
• Banners & poles
• Strollers
• Bottles must be sealed
• Umbrellas (except in the event of rain)
• Inappropriate signs

Q: I don’t have any clothes with school spirit. Where can I buy Sac State gear?

A: The Hornet Bookstore has Sac State clothing and accessories for every Hornet fan. This year, the Hornet Bookstore is offering Sacramento State Alumni Association members a 20 percent discount at the Hornet Bookstore on logo apparel, hats and gift merchandise during Homecoming Week. Present your Alumni Association membership card to the cashier to receive the special discount. The discount cannot be combined with other offers. Some merchandise exclusions may apply.
