THE HONORS PROGRAM IS NOW ACCEPTING

APPLICATIONS FOR THE FALL 2010-2011 ACADEMIC YEAR.

To be eligible for admission to the Honors Program, students must fall into one of the following categories:

• You are en entering first year student with a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.5 or above.
• You are an entering first year student with a total SAT score of 1800 or above (ACT score of 27 or above).
• You are en entering first year student, who despite not meeting the above criteria, think you deserve admission to the program because of your exceptional ability and commitment demonstrated in areas other than tradiational academic achievement.  You should make the special admissions request to the Honors Director.

Application Instructions:

1. To be considered for the Honors Program, you must be admitted or plan soon to be admitted to the California State Unviersity, Sacramento.  If you haven'y already complete the California State University Application for Undergraduate Admission. Online admission forms available at www.csumentor.org .
2. Complete the entire CSU Honors Program application including the Personal Statement of approximately 500 words.  DOWNLOAD APPLICATION

We are currently accepting Honors admissions applications.

If you do not meet the minimal academic criteria, and would still like to be considered for admission to Honors, complete the application as indicated above, and address a letter to the Honors Director explaining why you believe you should be admitted.

 

$500.00 PRESIDENT'S SCHOLARSHIP

All entering Honors Students will receive a President's Scholarship of $500.00 in their first year at Sacramento State.
