The application process for the Honors Program Scholarships is closed as of April 19, 2011.
Students who are members of the Sacramento State Honors Program have access to the following three scholarships offered annually by the Honors Program:

To apply for one or more of the scholarships listed above, complete the following steps:
1) Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
If applying for the Rao Family Scholarship, file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). March 2, 2012 is the priority filling date.
Please visit the Sacramento State Financial Aid website at https://webapps1.csus.edu/faid_general/process.asp for more information.
To begin filing your FAFSA, visit http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.
2) Honors Scholarship Application
Submit one (1) Honors Scholarship Application Form by email attachment to honors@csus.edu.
3) Scholarshp Application Questions
Along with the Honors Scholarship Application Form, attach the answers to the questions for the scholarship(s) you are interested in.

Important Dates of the Scholarship Application Process
January 1, 2012
FAFSA filing period begins. Candidates interested in applying for the Rao Scholarship must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).March 2, 2012
Priority filling date for FAFSA.April 16, 2012
The deadline to submit Honors Scholarship applications for academic year 2012-2013 is April 16, 2012 5pm.May (2nd or 3rd Week)
Committee begins application review process.June
Honors Program announces scholarship recipients.September
Fall term scholarship award disbursed.January
