Honors Program Scholarships

 

Students who are members of the Sacramento State Honors Program have access to the following scholarships offered annually by the Honors Program. For a detailed description of scholarships available for the 2013-2014 academic year, including eligibility requirements, CLICK HERE.

 

RCA Scholarship Up to $6,000
Edward D. Ermet Scholarship Up to $1,000
Robert S. Guardino Scholarship Up to $1,000
Ose Family Honors Program Scholarship Up to $1,000
Stremple Math/Science Scholarship Up to $1,000
David and Patricia Schwartz Scholarship $2,500

 

Download and complete the appropriate form for each scholarship:

 

1) For OSE, Guardino, Ermet*, and/or Stremple*: complete the Honors Scholarship Application Form.

 

2) Click to download the David and Patricia Schwartz Scholarship application.

 

3) For RCA Scholarship (Study Abroad): complete the
RCA Honors Scholarship Application.

 

 

All applications must be submitted electronically to honors@csus.edu. Deadline to submit scholarship applications is March 15, 2013.

 

*If applying for the Ermet, Rao or Stremple Scholarships, you must also file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The applicant must meet the financial need criteria as defined by Financial Aid Office.

 

March 2, 2013 is the priority filling date.

Important Dates of the Scholarship Application Process

January 1, 2013

FAFSA filing period begins. Candidates interested in applying for the Ermet, Rao or Stremple Scholarship must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

 

March 2, 2013

Priority filling date for FAFSA.

 

April 2013

The deadline to submit Honors Scholarship applications for academic year 2013-2014 is TBA. Committee begins application review process.

 

May

Honors Program announces scholarship recipients last week of May.

 

September

Fall term scholarship award disbursed.

 

January

Spring term scholarship award disbursed.
