Domestic violence awareness month activities at CSUS
Award-winning photojournalist, author and domestic abuse victims' advocate Donna Ferrato will present a slide show and lecture Monday, Oct. 5, in the University Union Redwood Room as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Ferrato's multimedia presentation, entitled "When Love Hurts," utilizes slides, music and narrative to show the effects of domestic violence in relationships. Ferrato, who is also the author of "Living With the Enemy," is also the founder of Domestic Abuse Awareness, Inc., the only visual archive on domestic violence to date.

Criminal Justice Society plans gathering
On December 5, Alpha Phi Sigma, the National Criminal Justice Society, will be hosting a party for club members at the Capital Plaza Holiday Inn.
The party will begin with a dinner, followed by awards and dancing. The graduating seniors of the group will be presented with their tassels and honor cards. New members receive pins and certificates and new board members are sworn in.

Drivers who circle the parking lot like vultures just lost three more spaces to Bass customers.
