Last week CSU students who are new or re-admitted received an announcement that may actually cause them pain. The Student Health Center has sent letters stating that anyone born on or after January 1, 1957 need to send proof of immunity to measles and rubella, in order to continue their education on any CSU campus.

If any CSU student has to actually get an immunization shot, then there are two separate places and days that it is available. In the library breezeway, immunizations are available on Oct 6 and 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Immunizations are also available in the Student Health Center on a walk-in basis.

The deadline for compliance is Oct. 19. If CSUS students do not have their shot records up to date, then a hold will be put on their class registration for next semester.
