Sacramento State organizations are being asked to help 11 non-profit organizations by volunteering to work at Community Service Day hosted by Associated Students, Inc. October 2.

Volunteers will paint, plant, clean, and organize from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for such organizations as Habitat for Humanity, YWCA, the Sacramento Tree Foundation, WEAVE, and the Children's Receiving Home.

Volunteers will receive free T-shirts and lunch at a barbecue held on the lawn in front of the Riverfront Market.
