Recruiting begins for first women's rugby team

A women's rugby team was formed this semester for the first time in CSUS history. Thirty women have expressed interest, and they hope to have at least 17 players.

Dara Schnieder is one of the organizing members of the team.

"We are trying to recruit girls and get our name out there. We want to be recognized as a club," Schnieder said.

The first game will be a scrimmage on Nov. 6 and the season will begin in the spring.
