Faculty will have the opportunity to exchange ideas at the first teaching forum at CSU, Sacramento.

On Friday and Saturday, the Center for Teaching and Learning will hold a conference at the University Union. Sixty CSUS faculty members will offer presentations, workshops and informational posters. Topics will include learning communities, classroom interaction, learning styles and teaching and technology.

The conference comes after redefining the role of the Center for Teaching and Learning. According to Charmon Clark, office manager of the Center, the aim of the conference is to "create a conversation about teaching and learning."

Concurrent sessions will be held Friday from 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. The CSUS Foundation will offer a complimentary breakfast on Friday and Saturday and lunch on Saturday.
