  • INCIDENT: CASE FOLLOW-UP
    Edward Martinez, 28, of Woodland, turned himself into authorities for the murder of Steven Fowler during the Causeway Classic. Martinez was booked on one count of homicide.

  • INCIDENT: SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES
    Music building (locker room)–unknown subject attempted to break into locker.

  • INCIDENT: VEHICLE TAMPERING
    Resident Hall parking. Wheel on black Honda tampered with.

  • INCIDENT: LARCENY/THEFT
    Resident Hall parking. Bike compound, bike seat stolen.

    Lot 10, theft of parking decal.

    Resident Hall parking lot. Subject littering, said he was feeding the chickens.

  • INCIDENT: CITIZEN’S ASSIST
    Lot 8, subject ran out of gas.

  • INCIDENT: SERVICE
    Lot A, keys locked in red Acura, when entranced gained, keys were not inside.

  • INCIDENT: ILLEGALLY PARKED VEHICLE
    Parking structure, 2nd floor. Vehicle rolled out of its parking space and was blocking the driving lane.

  • INCIDENT: SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE
    Amador Hall, male, 30’s, dark skin, dark curly hair, facial hair, grey sweatshirt, pants with holes, was staring off into space, then began walking in odd way.

  • INCIDENT: DISTURBANCE INVOLVING A DRUNK
    Desmond Hall, drunk subject, white male, white tank-top

  • INCIDENT: LARCENY/THEFT
    Sequoia Hall, exterior sidewalk, theft of measuring equipment during class experiment.

  • Wednesday 9/29

  • INCIDENT: SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE
    A white male in his 60's, shabbily dressed, was talking to himself at the bus stop.
    When the officer arrived he was gone.

  • INCIDENT:
    A man reported to be an ex-boyfriend was following a woman and threatening her near the Public Service Building. The situation was resolved and the man left campus.

  • INCIDENT: SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE
    A subject was thought to be selling shoes out of the back of a green Toyota pick-up truck on Moraga Way north of Yosemite Hall. It was later discovered that the man was a professor giving out shoes to his dance class.

  • INCIDENT: DISTURBANCE
    Juvenile s on rollerblades were advised to stop disturbing the courtyard area at the University Union.

    Citizen locked out of Public Service Building classroom/ office.

  • INCIDENT: SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE
    A white male in his 40's, about 240 pounds, appearing to be a transient, was on a bike dumping food in parking lot 2. When the officer arrived he was gone.

  • INCIDENT:
    A resident of Desmond Hall thought he found a gun in his roomate's desk. It was later discovered that the weapon was not real. The gun was a starter pistol or cap gun.

  • INCIDENT: LARCENY-THEFT
    In the Library on the third floor an unknown subject stole a backpack containing textbooks, a calculator, and miscellaneous items.

  • INCIDENT: SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE
    Two males were reported as trying to get into Brighton Hall Tuesday night.They were yelling and seen running toward the library. The two subjects were described as African American men, aged 18-24, one wearing a fishing type hat and prescription glasses, the other was unknown. The men were contacted and advised. They claimed to be mad about not being let in to use the water fountain.

  • INCIDENT: FOLLOW-UP
    A 21-year-old man succumbed to injuries sustained during the Causeway Classic. The case is now being investigted as a homicide. Media contacts will be handled by Sacramento Police Department.

  • INCIDENT: SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE
    On Guy West Bridge levee a male subject in a blue Geo Metro was reported possibly sleeping.

  • INCIDENT: LARCENY-THEFT
    A cellular phone was stolen on the track of Fred Anderson Field.

    INCIDENT: LARCENY THEFT
    A burgundy Magna 21-speed bicycle was stolen near the University Union. The bike had no decals and a Giant brand seat.

  • INCIDENT: SERVICE
    A citizen was locked out of an Eldorado Hall classroom.

  • Sunday 9/26

  • INCIDENT: Removing/tampering with vehicle part
    Residence hall parking lot, behind Draper Hall. Unknown subject switched spark plugs on vehicle and possibly tampered with transmission. Vehicle is now disabled. Black/red Mustang. Report taken, distributor cap tampered with, not spark plugs.
  • Friday 9/24

  • INCIDENT: Assault/battery
    Facilities management office, custodial office. Victim stated she was touched inappropriately by suspect on two occasions.
  • INCIDENT: Threat
    Cooperation Yard, Facilities Management Transportation Garage. Employee made threats against co-worker.
  • INCIDENT: Larceny/theft
    Lassen Hall, Cashier’s Office. Approximately $960 missing from Account Office.
  • INCIDENT: Disturbance
    Main bus stop. Drunk subject arriving on bus #9313; male, dark-skinned, stocky build, 5’9”, 200 pounds, black hair, mustache, white shirt. RT police assisted, subject taken to detox.
  • Thursday 9/23

  • INCIDENT: Vandalism
    Draper Residence Hall. Victim awoke to his alarm going off and noticed subject in white hooded sweatshirt running towards basketball courts. Vehicle is black Mitsubishi. Back of vehicle was spray-painted and parts of rims removed.
  • INCIDENT: Suspicious circumstance/subject
    Amador Hall. Male, 30’s, dark skin, dark curly hair, facial hair, grey sweatshirt, pants with holes, plastic garbage bag under pant leg, transient-looking. Subject staring off into space, then began walking in an odd way, possibly inebriated.
  • INCIDENT: Larceny/theft
    Sequoia Hall, exterior sidewalk. Theft of missing equipment during class experiment.
  • INCIDENT: Disturbance
    Desmond Hall, 3rd floor. Drunk subject causing a disturbance. White male, white tank top, last seen going toward LT2. Subject GOA.
  • INCIDENT: Larceny/theft
    University Union. Unknown subject stole motorized catering cart and damaged the tires. Cart was recovered on Old Jed Smith Road, north of Union.
