Better late than never: Reentry students bring life experience to classrooms
Numbers tell the story. In 1985, the number of students 25 and older in the California State University system was 59,613 — 38 percent of the total population. Twelve years later, that number had grown to 64,177 — 43 percent of the total population, a 13 percent growth.
