Don Hinde retires after 27 years at CSUS

A reception was held Friday to honor Donald Hinde, past Director of CSUS Student Union on his last day of work. The event was organized in tribute of Hinde's professional service at CSUS for 27 years.

"He's the only director we've ever had," said Don Tucker,Union Operations Manager

Hinde came to work at Sacramento State from Bowling Green, Ohio where he was the Operations Manager of the Student Union there.

"He came here before the original Union was completed," said Tucker, "and he's been here through several expansions of this Union."

Leslie Davis began performing as the new Director of the CSUS Student Union last month.

During his anticipated free time, Hinde and his wife, Noel, are looking forward to traveling and spending time with their four grown children and many grandchildren.
